Within the team, you will join our Palliative Medicine Consultant and another experienced Palliative Care and Symptom Control CNS, helping to deliver Gold Standard care to patients with malignant and non-malignant life limiting illnesses. Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in delivering individualised, evidence-based care, whilst optimising support for patients and those important to them. Key Duties: Carry out comprehensive assessments addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs Develop and review person-centred care plans in partnership with patients and families Provide clinical advice and emotional support to colleagues, patients and carers Work closely with ward teams and external partners to ensure continuity of care Contribute to education, training, and service evaluation initiatives across the Clinic Skills and Experience: We're looking for someone who: Is a registered nurse (NMC) with extensive experience in oncology and palliative care Has at least one year of experience as a CNS in palliative care Has completed or is working towards a postgraduate qualification in palliative care Is confident managing a complex caseload with autonomy Has strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to support, guide and influence others Brings compassion, curiosity, and clinical excellence to every interaction Why Join Us?
