Recently awarded “2024 Law Firm of the Year” by LawNet, we provide quality legal services to individuals and businesses through our Business, Real Estate, Litigation, Family, Wills Probate & Estate Planning, and Conveyancing teams.

We have a new permanent opportunity for a full-time Real Estate Lawyer to join the Team in one of our Thames Valley offices (Newbury, Maidenhead or Swindon) office. The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years’ PQE with significant experience in commercial property transactions.

The Role

Working as part of a team, you will be working on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including property portfolio management, grant and renewal of commercial leases, transfer of existing commercial leases, dealing with applications for consent to assignment, underletting or alterations to premises, acquisition and disposal of all types of commercial property, options, conditional contracts and pre-emption agreements, promotion agreements, property aspects of corporate asset and share sales and acquisitions, secured lending transactions, including in respect of site development, site assembly and sale of completed units

You will also be expected to build and manage your own caseload of matters as well as dealing with delegated work and providing full support to more junior members of the team.

About you

5+ years’ PQE
Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
Excellent team player with demonstrable ability to build effective and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
Strong client-facing and business development skills
Good presentation skills
Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills

Salary: Competitive

Office: Newbury, Maidenhead or Swindon

Hours of work: 9.00am - 5.30pm
