Join a leading advisory firm in London as a Financial Controller. This role offers a chance to shape the firm's financial operations and compliance practices in a flexible, hybrid working environment. You'll be part of a team that values expertise, collaboration, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee insolvency cashiering, ensuring accurate management of statutory bonding, VAT, and corporation tax returns.
Administer and transition the Insolvency Practitioners System (IPS) to cloud-based solutions, including data migration and team training.
Handle daily and monthly cash management activities, prepare cash flow forecasts, and produce detailed management accounts.
Process staff expenses, prepare VAT returns, coordinate with external accountants for payroll and tax filings, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain company books and statutory registers, manage regulatory filings, and ensure all submissions are completed accurately.
Review staff time records, analyse productivity trends, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost recovery.
Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, manage engagement documentation, and ensure seamless integration into the firm's processes.

Key Requirements:

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with experience in practice finance and regulatory compliance.
Proven background in financial controller roles or similar positions within professional services.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising accuracy.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with partners and external advisers.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
