We have an exciting opportunity for a corporate receptionist to take full ownership of the front of house services at a fabulous building in Wimbledon, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm.
You will deliver an exemplary tenant service and visitor experience, understanding the importance of implementing added value events that help to create a community vibe for all working in the building. You should be well presented with proven relevant experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.
Hours and Salary
- £32,760 Full-Time pa.
- 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Reception responsibilities- Greet and welcome all visitors to the building, in a friendly and professional manner – following the appropriate sign-in process for each company
- Set up and maintain a welcoming, professional reception area that reflects the expectations of both clients and tenants
- Provide general administrative support
- Efficiently manage deliveries, including couriers and post
- Provide excellent customer service to everyone visiting or working in the building
Building Management- Establish yourself as ‘the face of the building’ and the go to person for questions/queries
- Work closely with the off-site Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress / maintenance log
- Weekly report to key stakeholders
- Take a proactive, solution-focused approach to day-to-day challenges
Tenant Experience and Community Engagement:- Produce a comprehensive local amenities guide, developing a strong understanding of the surrounding area
- Research, support, and, where appropriate, implement added-value services (with client approval), such as car valeting, dry cleaning, fitness memberships, professional networking, and sustainability initiatives
- Negotiate tenant discounts or complimentary offers with local shops, restaurants, and gyms - subject to client approval and in keeping with the LAH front-of-house service
- Organise or support promotional activities, such as pop-up markets and seasonal events (e.g. summer or Christmas functions), with an emphasis on involving and supporting local businesses
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experienced front of house receptionist and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Experience organising events
- Proactive, self-motivated and enjoy working independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn in house systems
