About the Role
As Property Manager, you’ll take full ownership of a high-value residential portfolio, overseeing all aspects of property management, lettings, tenant relations, and compliance. You’ll work closely with the owners in a small, collaborative office environment, supported by an assistant who reports directly to you.
This is a hands-on, autonomous role ideal for someone who thrives in a boutique setting and enjoys building long-term relationships with tenants and landlords alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day management of 40–50 residential properties across London
- Coordinate lettings, renewals, referencing, and tenancy agreements
- Manage property maintenance, repairs, and contractor relationships
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Handle rent collection, arrears, and financial reporting
- Liaise with tenants and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
- Assist with onboarding new properties into the portfolio
- Maintain accurate records and property management systems
- Supervise and mentor an assistant property manager
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management (3+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of lettings, referencing, and tenancy legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties
- Familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office
- ARLA qualification or similar (desirable but not essential)
