Rate: £18.24 PAYE / £23.73 Umbrella

Are you detail-driven, legally curious, and passionate about making a difference in housing services? The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking an Income Assistant (Litigation) to support its Homeownership department in recovering leasehold arrears through efficient and compliant legal processes.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and issue Letters of Claim in line with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims
- Manage case documentation and correspondence with homeowners and legal representatives
- Support the drafting and submission of County Court claims, Charging Orders, and Section 146 Notices
- Liaise with internal teams to verify charges and progress cases
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance reporting
- Deliver high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced legal setting
