Our client is looking for a Real Estate Finance Paralegal

Description

Preparing, reviewing and reporting to clients on real estate finance documents including dispositions, leases, standard securities, loan documentation and other documents and security relating to real estate finance transactions.
Examining and reporting to clients on title (including both Land Registered and Sasine titles).
Reviewing and reporting to clients on or assisting in the preparation of certificates of title in relation to properties for real estate finance transactions (including lease reporting).
Reviewing and reporting to clients on deeds of servitude, deeds of conditions and lease management documentation.
Drafting/reviewing board minutes and corporate authorisations.
Drafting/reviewing discharges of standard securities.
Instructing and reviewing searches and external reports as well as attending to registrations at Registers of Scotland.
Collating conditions precedent to real estate finance transactions and updating clients throughout.
Carrying out post settlement administration and dealing with general enquiries/issues including preparation of fee quotes.
Managing files ensuring all steps are completed within the timescales and service level agreements set.

Profile

Paralegal qualification in real estate finance or equivalent extensive experience.
Excellent communication skills and clearly articulate - need to be able to draft correspondence and legal documents with appropriate content and format.
Ability to interpret client needs and advise on procedure and progress.
