Reporting into the Property Services Desk Technical Manager, this role is a critical member of the Commercial & Contracts Team , providing high-quality technical administrative service on property maintenance issues. It will also involve processing emergency calls and triaging calls, making technical decisions based on experience and judgment with minimal day-to-day supervision as well as liaising with the contractors. - Report directly to the Property Services Desk Technical Manager, whilst being responsible for individual orders up to £1000 within an annual budget of £1.5m.
The successful Property Services Administrator will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years' data input experience.
- Possess experience in a building technical environment.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, fluent, jargon-free manner.
- Be analytical and experienced with the ability to triage property maintenance issues and make judgments on the path a repair should take.
- Evidence of being able to engage constructively with and deal with a wide range of people in person and by telephone including Members, senior officers, contractors, members of the public and people from other organisations.
In return the successful Property Services Administrator will receive an attractive compensation package consisting of:
- An attractive base salary (£28,000 - £30,000) dependent on experience..
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (Increasing to 30 days after 5 years experience)
