This is a role for a lawyer with solid development experience-someone comfortable running their own matters while also supporting on complex, high-value transactions. The team acts for a range of housebuilders, developers, promoters, investors and landowners, and offers a full-service, lifecycle approach to development work.
There's real scope here for someone looking to take on responsibility, deepen their client exposure, and progress within a growing team that is winning new work and investing for the long term.
The work

- Support on complex residential development deals, acting as a trusted second-in-command
- Run their own caseload of strategic land work, acquisitions, and disposals
- Work alongside commercial development colleagues on national projects
- Advise a broad client base including developers, funders, and promoters
- Play an active role in business development and relationship-building
- Work collaboratively across the firm's national real estate and infrastructure teams
What they're looking for
- A qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE and a background in real estate
- Development experience is essential; strategic land experience is a plus
- Strong team player with good commercial instincts and client-handling skills
- Confident managing their own workload with support where needed
- Someone who enjoys client engagement and is keen to help build long-term relationships
The offer
This is a firm that takes a flexible, grown-up approach to work, offering:
- Hybrid working with genuine flexibility
- A clear path for career progression
- The chance to join a national platform with excellent clients and sector depth
- Collaboration with planning, construction, and infrastructure specialists
- A supportive culture that values input and initiative
Based in Bristol, the successful candidate will also work closely with colleagues in other offices across the UK.
