Maintenance Assistant – Glasgow Royal Infirmary
Are you a skilled and motivated individual looking to join a dedicated team supporting one of Glasgow's leading healthcare facilities? Glasgow Royal Infirmary is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our hospital environment.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will provide essential support in maintaining the hospital's infrastructure, assisting with repairs, and ensuring that all facilities are safe and functional. You will work closely with the maintenance team to carry out routine checks, respond promptly to report issues, and contribute to the upkeep of equipment and hospital premises.
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Practical experience in general maintenance or building repairs
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and building tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Awareness of health and safety regulations within a healthcare setting
You will join a friendly, skilled maintenance team dedicated to providing safe, efficient environment for patients, staff and visitors. The team works collaboratively across departments and is supported by experienced supervisors and technical experts.
