Senior Associate - Property Litigation
Property Disputes | Leading National Practice | Bristol
This top-tier real estate disputes team is looking to appoint a Senior Associate in Bristol, as it continues to attract high-profile work and instructions from major UK and international clients.
Consistently rated by Chambers & Partners as a national leader outside London, the team is known for its strength across landlord and tenant disputes, complex development-related litigation, and highly technical land rights work-particularly in the telecoms sector under the Electronic Communications Code.
Clients include British Land, Barratt Homes, Marks & Spencer, Greystar, Cornerstone, Vodafone and Telefonica. The practice advises across the full lifecycle of disputes-helping clients navigate risk, resolve matters pre-action, and, when necessary, litigating before courts, tribunals and arbitration panels.
You'll be joining a collaborative, high-performing and well-resourced group, working closely with Chambers-ranked Partners Leona Briggs and Emily Van Schalkwyk. The wider team spans multiple UK offices and includes a strong cohort of senior lawyers, trainees and paralegals, creating a supportive environment for complex work and career development.
This role will suit someone who:
- Has solid experience in commercial property litigation gained in a well-regarded team
- Has worked on litigation under the Electronic Communications Code, including MSV claims under Paragraph 26
- Understands tree interference claims and the overlap with 1954 Act lease renewals
- Is comfortable managing their own matters and supervising junior colleagues
- Enjoys getting under the skin of a client's business, not just their legal challenges
You'll benefit from a structured and award-winning career development programme that includes early responsibility, tailored technical training, and clear progression pathways-not to mention generous benefits and a genuinely collegiate culture.
If you're looking to take your career forward in a firm where ambition and support go hand in hand, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
