We are representing a new global industry-leading law firm in their search for an experienced Real Estate Associate to join their team in Belfast.
Your New Role
As the Real Estate Associate on the Real Estate team in Belfast, you will work on a variety of property matters across the firms product lines, with particular focus on general real estate, development, real estate finance, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, corporate support and supporting the firms Real Estate global network.
Working as part of the team you will gain recognition as a subject matter expert, embrace and drive innovation, lead projects, develop new work streams and forge client relationships.
In this role you will:
- Enhance drafting and analytical skills.
- Specialist and significant general legal knowledge.
- Issue spotting and report writing/drafting.
- Lead projects/teams.
- Undertake due diligence exercises and demonstrate independent thinking.
- Quality control the work of more junior members of the team.
- Provide training to junior team members.
- Carry out business development, presenting directly to and owning relationships with clients.
- Identify areas for innovation and utilization of technology.
What You Need To Succeed
As the Real Estate Associate;
- You will be a Qualified solicitor in Northern Ireland, England & Wales or the Republic of Ireland, with experience in real estate law.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of real estate transactional work including real estate finance, landlord and tenant, lease and title review due diligence and drafting real estate documents
- Have good attention to detail with strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Possess excellent relationship-building skills a team player with the ability to establish credibility and inspire confidence with clients and senior colleagues.
- Demonstrate a high level of affinity with legal technology.
