The Role

An opportunity is available for a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join the specialist Commercial Real Estate team. The successful candidate will advise a diverse range of business sectors including leisure and tourism, retail, food and drink, healthcare, and professional services. This role will involve working on a variety of matters alongside experienced legal advisors and managing a personal caseload. Key responsibilities will include:

Handling landlord and tenant matters such as leases, licences to assign, surrenders, and assignments.
Managing sales and purchases of owner-occupied property, related secured lending transactions, and other finance transactions, including sale and leaseback deals.
Overseeing the sales and purchases of investment property.
Participating in business development activities, such as attending networking events.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years' PQE in commercial real estate or a related field. Key qualities include:

A genuine interest in commercial real estate and a strong commitment to career progression in this area.
Commercial awareness with the ability to enhance the firm's reputation through exceptional client service.
A flexible approach, capable of working effectively within a team environment.
Highly organized, accurate, proactive, and able to meet deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
Experience in a busy, professional environment.
